Unlike many companies, Best Cabo Yachts works with yachts who have at least 1 bilingual crew member who is fluent in English. Communication can be important while at sea, so don’t take a chance on having a gap there. We take the safety of our crew and guests very seriously. As you board, you will be given a brief but thorough safety walkthrough and demonstration.
What age groups will be on board? When selecting a yacht, it is very important to be realistic of the physical conditions and capabilities of your group. Maybe the kids have no problem zipping up and down a flight of stairs, but another relative does. Please let us know any and all details or concerns you may have in this department, and we can help you choose the perfect vessel for your needs.
Do you have any other specific requests? Some of our guests are happy with whatever the yacht provides, while others desire a more customized experience. Our tours begin with a trip to the iconic Arch of Cabo San Lucas. This stunning rock formation juts out of the water over 3 stories tall. The keyhole shape inside of the arch is locally referred to as “Ventana De Pacifico” or “window of the Pacific”. Should wind and weather permit, we cruise behind the arch for a tour of the Pacific coast where you can view mega mansions, golf courses, and the old lighthouse, and then we head back towards Medano Bay and continue Northeast into The Sea of Cortez. Around here, hundreds of Sea Lions lounge on the beach and hunt the waters for fish. Our tours continue Northeast toward the Sea of Cortez where warm shallow waters make for vibrant snorkeling tours. Santa Maria Bay is one of the most popular snorkeling destinations in the area. The waters are calm and clean, and although they are warmest in October, they stay warm enough to snorkel year round. In this bay, you’ll run into a wide variety of tropical fish.
Whale watching season begins in November and lasts throughout the winter usually into April. The waters in the Baja Gulf become a spectacular scene as humpback whales breach, spy hop, lunge out of the water and slap their fins. The giant creatures migrate to the waters during their mating season when the waters up North grow cold. But it’s not just whales you’ll see on these tours.
